JOE PACELLA
Joe is a Chess Instructor and ICA Chief Tournament Director.
He specialize in teaching chess to the younger students, ages 5 to 11 years old. He incorporates fun with learning. Joe created a board game he named Chess-A-Rama which teaches tactics to young children in a fun, board game format.
Joe is very involved in the New Jersey Chess Network. He teaches 6 days a week and has directed over 150 chess events in the past 2 years. He is also a tournament Director for the US Chess League and an active tournament player.
Joe is Vice President of the Bergen Chess Mates and is an active member of both the Suffern Chess Club and the Butler Chess Club.
Before joining ICA, Joe was a Business Executive in the computer industry.
